Introduction to BAGB

The Builders Association of Greater Boston (BAGB), a trade Association affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders and Home Builders Association of Massachusetts, has represented the industry since 1944.

Established in 1944, The Builders Association of Greater Boston has evolved into one of the leading trade associations in New England.

The over 800 members include small, moderate, and large volume builders, who construct single family, multi-family, and commercial properties, and remodeling contractors, who do projects ranging from kitchens and baths to full house renovation. Associate members represent property management professionals, sales and marketing individuals and firms, suppliers, retail and wholesale dealers, architects, engineers, land planners, attorneys, accountants, and financial institutions, and realtors.

As a member of the Builders Association of Greater Boston you benefit from membership in the Home Builders Association of Massachusetts (HBAM) and in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). You have access to the association’s reference library and resource center and you are invited to take advantage of the many member services offered through NAHB.

Members can improve their professional skills and expertise and increase their value to the association through outstanding educational programs. Opportunities for participation and recognition are many – industry credentials, certification, annual awards program, committees and councils. Members can elect to become Certified Graduate Builders and Remodelers through NAHB and members are encouraged to enter local and national award competitions that recognize their commitment to excellence.

There is also a social side to membership. Each year the association sponsors a ski trip and a golf outing for members and their guests. These tremendously popular events are great opportunities for associates and key sponsors to highlight products and services.
